We took this photo just west of Champaign, IL during the partial solar eclispe. We did not have the proper filter, so we put the camera behind the tinted truck window, pointed and started shooting. Not bad, eh?

This picture was taken on a hill in Buffalo Ridge State Park near Utica, IL. This pair of bald eagles was sitting on a tree overlooking the Illinois River. They were no more than 20 yards away! They are so majestic (and big)!
